The boys of Big Bang were spotted in Incheon Airport on July 24th, just few days after they got back from the “YGEX” press conference in Japan. Where are they heading this time?

As expected, Daesung is missing, there were only four of them. Dressed in the well-known outdoor clothing/ equipment brand “The North Face” from head to toes, even the back packs, makes fans wondering where exactly is their destination. Just when fans were guessing, lucky fans from New Zealand gave us the answer by showing off the autographs they got from the boys! It turned out they are in New Zealand now doing a photo shoot for “The North Face”, which explains why they’re all dressed in the brand!

According to the the lucky fans, the boys were supposed to transfer to Queenstown for the photo shoot, yet the flight was cancelled due to the terrible weather; thus they had to wait at Auckland Airport longer than expected.

Although there is no further information on how long the boys are staying there, VIPs in New Zealand, you might be able to run into the boys on the street!

Big Bang members G-Dragon, T.O.P., Seungri and Taeyang had an interview when they were in Singapore for the “Korean Music Wave 2011” concert, and revealed some of their upcoming plans.

Each member briefly talked about what they are up to, and it seemed like they really enjoyed the interview and joked around with each other.

On G-Dragon’s case, he revealed that he traveled to Japan “to see if there were any good songs” that could fit his project and still he’s looking forward to any upcoming opportunities.

Taeyang revealed that he went to the US “to establish connections with good producers and to see if there was an opportunity to work with The Underdogs”, and at the same time, T.O.P. joked about making a song collection for “The Overdogs” [contrary to The Underdogs], which brought laughs over the studio.

T.O.P. declared that for the moment, there aren’t any projects for dramas or movies but if a great opportunity comes up, he’ll definitely take it. G-Dragon declared how surprised they all were at T.O.P.’s performance as an actor and said: “We expect a lot more from him now”, to which Taeyang said: “Best Movie I have ever seen” regarding T.O.P.’s movie 71: Into the Fire.

For Seungri, he instead of revealing any projects, joked about “Setting up a website to find songs” to which T.O.P. said: “He changed his job and now he collects songs” and Seungri continued: “There aren’t much responses online” making G-Dragon state: “He doesn’t require any royalties” and Seungri said: “Please give me a lot of songs!”, and everybody couldn’t just stop laughing at his jokes.

Finally, he was asked if he was under a lot of stress for being the maknae, making T.O.P. interrupt him and say: “The rest of us are more stressed than him!” and Seungri started talking in english saying: “So, so many stress, so many stress” creating a huge laugh response that couldn’t just stop.

The sweetest thing is that the boys kept on stressing that they’ll be back as Big Bang, all five of them. I’m sure they will keep their promise and be back as a full group.

Recently a poll was conducted by SBS which asked female idols and staff members at “Inkigayo”, “Which male idol would you like to go on a spring outing with?”

First place was awarded to Big Bang’s G-Dragon. When those who selected G-Dragon were asked why they chose Big Bang’s leader their responses were the same, “He is a fashonista, so he has great taste in fashion. He would help his girlfriend become fashionable as well.” A guy who wouldn’t mind tagging along as you shopped for clothes as well as would honestly know what looked good on you, a girl’s dream!

DBSK’s Leader U-Know Yunho and Hwang Kwang Hee were tied for second place. The female idols chose them because of U-Know’s “protective older brother” image and Hwang Kwang Hee’s unique voice and cool gestures. In third place fellow Big Bang member TOP made the list and he shared the spot with CN Blue’s Leader Jung Yong Hwa. TOP embodies the image of the perfect man with a great sense of humor and manners coupled with a handsome face, he is the complete package. Jung Yong Hwa is known to have a caring personality that was displayed in MBC’s “We Got Married”. Yoon Doo Joon of BEAST took fourth place, as group-mate Lee Ki Kwang also made the ranking placing in fifth. Doo Joon was selected because he has the image of the “boyfriend idol” and Lee Ki Kwang because of his elaborate dancing skills.

YG Entertainment has made an announcement that’s gaining major public interest! They’ve announced that they are currently in the works of putting together a charming and talented girl group; one that will be like SNSD, but with some YG flair.

During his recent interview with StarIn, Yang Hyun Suk stated, “We have plans to debut new artists before the third quarter of next year.” He added that of those new artists, one will be “an attractive and talented girl group like SNSD, but with some YG flavor.”

YG Entertainment is home to major artists like Big Bang and 2NE1, and they’ve established themselves as one of Korea’s major entertainment labels. Before he went on to talk about his new girl group, Yang Hyun Suk revealed his process on how he chose which trainees to debut.

“When it comes to selecting the members, the ones who performed the best looked the most appealing, that’s all! (laughs)”. He continued, ”I think these days, there are a lot of young people who are extremely talented, and are also very attractive. …It took five years before Big Bang was able to make their first debut, but because these kids are so talented these days, and since all the studios have state-of-the-art technology, I believe it’ll be possible to produce a new group within two years.”

YG Entertainment currently hosts about 30 trainees, and he plans on debuting a few rookie groups towards mid-year 2012, one of which being the ‘YG SNSD’.

He assures, however, that the new groups will be different from anything YG has ever done, and that their style will not be anything like that of Big Bang’s or 2NE1’s.

He continued, “I like to try out new things that others have yet to, and if you take a look at all the groups that YG has produced (such as Big Mama, Gummy, Se7en, Big Bang, or 2Ne1), all of their styles are unique. It’ll be no different for these new artists.”

Yang Hyun Suk was at one point one of the members of the legendary “Seo Taiji & Boys“. When asked if he missed being on stage, he replied, “I actually don’t miss it… I enjoy seeing our groups on stage more and working behind the scenes to make the stage possible for them. This is more me.”

YG smiled contently as he ended, “I love each of our YG groups; they’re like my own children. Everyday I ponder upon how I can “raise” them better and how I can create the next best idol group… it’s fun.”

As many of you probably know by now, the SuperTraxx Concert is coming up soon (in which you have a chance to win VIP tickets)! In celebration of the upcoming World Championships Daegu 2011, the concert will be featuring the ‘Galacticos’ of K-pop/hip hop, including Drunken Tiger & T, Taeyang, miss A, GD&TOP, as well as B.o.B.

The boys from Big Bang decided to give a shout out for the concert in their traditional humorous manner. Poor Seungri is getting the silent treatment and G-Dragon is having a very hard time holding in his laughter.
